  • Bottom-up technique based upon water condensation for the formation of porous membranes.

  • Membranes of homo and copolymers with uniform pore size distribution, high regularity and hexagonal array.

  • Pore size controlled by process variables such as humidity, polymer, concentration, substrate, among others.

  • Membranes of up to 20 cm2 with pores ranging from 50 nm to 20 μm have been prepared with the condensation technique.

  • The membranes are cross-linked/ functionalized to improve stability and meet requirements for specific applications.
